Babel Street

After years of working on their original platform, was hired back to manage the evolution of their flagship product taking over from an outsourced team, resulting in  the redesign and development of an entirely new product solution. Previously redesigned two flagship products that were acquired by Babel Street in 2020. Then worked on the design of their product, bringing design standards and designing in new features.

  • Established a design system in Figma for the complete redesign of the primary Babel Street product with outside consulting firm Frog
  • Continuous innovation of features as the product is growing
  • Design and implement AI as an aspect of the product
  • Manage a team of 4 designers what supports numerous dev teams and 7 products
  • Sitemaps, experience maps and user flows were all tools frequently used to inform the experience
Original flagship products were named #1 in UX out of 30 apps in a government vetting and procurement assessment.

OBJECTIVE

The goal of this engagement was to raise the caliber of user experience beyond the original MVP solution. Use user feedback and product strategy to inform continuous improvements to the design of the app. Implement Figma organizationally and create and maintain a design system.

SOLUTION

The current product continues to evolve. It is routinuely selected as the open source intelligence solutions for organizations and government agencies around the world.
